This is such a bomb healthy dessert/snack that uses a lot of ingredients you may already have stocked in your pantry! These caramel apple stuffed dates will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth and they’re honestly better than a regular caramel apple IMO.

Salted Caramel Apple Stuffed Dates

The perfect healthy dessert, appetizer, or snack for fall!

Ingredients

  • fresh medjool dates (as many as you need)
  • almond or cashew butter
  • Granny smith apples, diced
  • flakey sea salt
  • melted chocolate

Instructions

  1. Stuff the pitted dates with nut butter (about 1 tsp each) then top with cubed apple slices
  2. Drizzle with melted chocolate and sprinkle sea salt.
  3. Serve immediately or store in refrigerator until ready to serve.

Notes

An easy way to make melted chocolate is adding semi-sweet chocolate chips and a small amount of coconut oil to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 15 seconds then stir. Repeating until all melted, watch carefully to not burn the chocolate.
