Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Dates

WOW these are my new favorite appetizer. I’m not a huge fan of goat cheese so I opted to use chive & onion cream cheese. Feel free to swap if you’re a goat cheese lover! It’s the perfect balance of sweet and salty, everyone will be OBSESSED!⁣ Perfect for holiday gatherings or game day parties!

Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Dates

Ingredients

  • medjool dates, pitted (2 per guest is a good start)
  • cream cheese or goat cheese (any flavor)⁣
  • 1-2 packs of bacon⁣ (depending on how many ppl you're serving)
  • black pepper⁣
  • honey⁣

Instructions

  1. preheat oven to 350F. remove pits from dates (or save yourself some time and buy pitted dates).
  2. scoop cream cheese or goat cheese (~1tsp) into the dates.
  3. cut each bacon strip in half. roll each half strip around 1 stuffed date and secure with a toothpick. place onto a baking sheet and sprinkle with pepper, cook for 10 minutes. flip over each date then cook for another 5-8 minutes. flip one last time and cook for 3-5 minutes until bacon is crispy and golden brown.
  4. place each date on serving platter and drizzle with honey. serve while still warm!! ⁣
